...and deliver

just when i start to worry that judah is super-behind developmentally he goes and does this. he has shown zero interest or ability for sitting up from laying down, pulling up to stand or crawling. none of these make him behind, per se, but it something kids his age and several of his same-age friends can do. like he always does, right when i complain to jesse, "i am worried judah can't ________ yet" he goes and does it within days. he lives to prove me wrong.

even though we were expecting this soon and trying to get it to happen something about this just seems ridiculously grown-up.

.
these were the 3rd and 4th successful attempts at this. we missed the first 2 and the beginning of the 3rd (wherein he gave a mighty grunt to start the pull) because he was super fast. he never did anything between complete failure/ambivalence and 100% domination so we were a little caught off guard thinking we were just building muscles that would help him get there in a few weeks. yesterday was the first time we ever thought of putting him outside the jumper office to try to pull up on. all we had ever used to pull him up was our thumbs and inevitably we would do most of the pulling. yay big boy! ok i am happy, but make the growing up stop.
